Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom - £365 Million

Queen Elizabeth’s net worth is massive, but that should hardly be surprising considering her status. She also has the largest fortune of all the members of the Royal Family. A lot of her wealth reportedly comes from the Sovereign Grant, which pays her a lump sum every year.

In a bid to remodel Buckingham Palace, the Sovereign Grant now pays the Royal Household 25% of the Crown Estate’s annual income. In 2020 alone, the queen was reportedly paid a total of £85.9 million. Since her long-time husband, Prince Philip, died earlier in 2021, she would be inheriting the bulk of his royal estate, subsequently boosting her wealth.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall - £3.6 Million

Camilla Parker Bowles became the Duchess of Cornwall after marrying Prince Charles in April 2005. Though that was both their second marriage, they had initially met in the ‘70s, before Charles joined the Navy, and the pressure from the Royal House forced them to put their relationship on hold.

Since taking the role of Duchess, Camilla has assisted her husband in his royal duties. She’s also spent most of her time managing her charities and helping the fight against osteoporosis and other issues like poverty. The Duchy of Cornwall pays her a stipend, but she reportedly earns from some real estate too.

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex - £7.2 Million (Shared with Meghan Markle)

We are collectively holding our breaths in anticipation of a book that Prince Harry has described as “wholly truthful.” The book is his memoir, and he will release it later in 2022. That seems like a long and torturous time to wait, but considering the worldwide saga he has generated with his wife Meghan Markle, the torture might just be worth it.

He stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and stopped receiving a salary from the Sovereign Grant. But the ginger prince has mom’s funds: the vast inheritance he received from the late Princess Diana and the recent lucrative deal with Netflix to keep him up there.

Prince Andrew, Duke of York - £32.8 Million

The somewhat not-so-momentous but still exciting news in town these days is that Prince Andrew spent a while staying at the house of his deceased friend, Jeffrey Epstein, after his divorce from his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. If you don’t know how this is relevant, Andrew caused one of the biggest royal scandals in recent history when his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, a reported child violator, was revealed in 2019.

The mess and ugly publicity led to his resignation from all the royal roles he had previously held. That naturally brought about the assumption that he would be cut off from royal financial funding as well, but that hasn’t been confirmed.

Princess Eugenie of York - £3.6 Million

A new member was added to the Royal Family when Princess Eugenie welcomed her son, August Philip, in February 2021. This is the latest update from her marriage to Jack Brooksbank in 2018.

For those who are unsure of Eugenie’s position in the Royal Family, she is the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew, the Duke of York and Queen Elizabeth’s third child. This somehow makes her 11th in the line of succession to the British throne. She’s working for an art gallery and several charities, but the bulk of her wealth supposedly comes from a royal inheritance.

Jack Brooksbank - Undisclosed Net Worth

Jack Brooksbank only recently became a royal after his marriage to Princess Eugenie in 2018. That isn’t to say he has always been distant from the aristocracy, as he comes from a line of baronets. He, however, hasn’t held any royal title since his marriage to Eugenie, as it’s been a recent trend for the Royal Family not to bestow royal titles upon male commoners who marry a princess.

He doesn’t exactly need the royal bank anyway, as he’s been doing well on his own as a bar manager and brand ambassador. Brooksbank is a brand ambassador to the Casamigos tequila company that famous actor George Clooney founded.

Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York - £1.4 Million

Some people might have expected Sarah Ferguson to detach from the Royal Family and her royal title as the Duchess of York after her messy divorce with Prince Andrew in 1996. But that’s not how it works. Either way, she’s done enough to justify her retaining her title. Ever since her marriage, she’s been busy with charity work in a bid to help cancer patients.

Yes, she receives the royal funds, but this woman knows how to hustle for her own wealth. She’s built a career as a presenter, author, actor, and film producer. Ferguson also has a Youtube channel, where she launched a new series in 2021.

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge - £28.2 Million

Prince William was in a 2021 documentary about his grandfather Prince Phillip. It was titled Remembering Prince Philip. The documentary also included his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and his father, Prince Charles. Unlike his brother, Prince Harry, who was absent from the documentary, William has maintained his excellent standing with the Royal Family.

William’s large fortune is helped by royal inheritances from his mother, Princess Diana, and his great-grandmother, the Queen Mother. He also receives stipends from the Sovereign Grant and the Duchy of Cornwall. Should he become king, his fortune will leap massively because of the vast properties and wealth he will inherit.

Peter Phillips - £14.5 Million

Peter Phillips is the only son of Princess Anne, who is Queen Elizabeth II’s only daughter. Unlike the other legitimate male grandchildren of the queen, Phillips has no royal title. This unlikely situation reportedly happened because his parents refused to have him born with a hereditary title.

His lack of a royal title means he’s probably not being funded by the royal purse, but his career path indicates that money has never been a problem. He was previously a manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland, and he reportedly owns a sports management company. His 2020 separation from his ex-wife is the most news he’s made in a while.

Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex - £32.8 Million

Prince Edward is the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Unlike his elder brothers, Prince Charles and Prince Andrew, Edward rarely makes the news. And it’s all for a good cause, apparently, as he spends most of his time fulfilling his royal duties and supporting charity.

He did show interest in the arts before he fully became a working royal. Prince Edward worked as a theatre production assistant and even created his own film production company, which unfortunately didn’t succeed. He probably wouldn’t be thinking of that too much as he’s reportedly the favorite to become the Duke of Edinburgh once Prince Charles becomes the king.

Lady Amelia Windsor - £729,000

Lady Amelia Windsor’s connection to the Royal Family is not as simple as that of most known family members of the monarchy. She is the daughter of George Windsor, the Earl of St. Andrews. Her grandfather, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, is a first cousin to Queen Elizabeth II. Ideally, Amelia would barely make headlines with such a connection, but she’s an achiever, as proven by her career path.

She’s a model who’s walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana and appeared on a cover of Vogue. She’s also collaborated with fashion brands and was even reported to be selling her designer clothes in 2021. Obviously, the 25-year-old is business-minded.

Lady Louise Windsor - Undisclosed Net Worth

When Prince Edward married Sophie Rhys-Jones in 1999, the Queen issued a press release stating that their kids would be styled as the children of an earl instead of as princes or princesses. This is why their daughter Louise Windsor is addressed as a lady instead of a princess.

Though, according to Sophie, who is the Countess of Wessex, Louise still retains the right to her royal title and will decide if she wants to use it once she’s 18 years old. She will be 18 in November 2021. Louise’s wealth is unknown, but it’s thought that she has some share of the royal inheritance.

Prince George of Cambridge - Undisclosed Net Worth

Prince George is the eldest son of Prince Williams and the grandson of Prince Charles. He has to be one of the most influential members of the Royal Family at the moment. This isn’t just because he’s likely to be king one day, as he is third in the line of succession to the throne; it’s also because his adorable pictures have made him an incredibly marketable personality.

Baby clothes and products used by George have sold out once spotted on him in the media. His influence means he has the potential to make massive wealth, but he’s barely earned any tangible assets, so his net worth is still unknown.

Mike Tindall - £15.7 Million

Mike Tindall is not part of the Royal Family by blood. He joined it through marriage when he wed Zara Tindall (formerly Zara Phillips), Princess Anne’s daughter. A self-made man, he played rugby professionally for England before announcing his retirement in 2014.

Although he doesn’t have any royal titles, Tindall earned a prestigious non-royal one when Queen Elizabeth made him a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2007. He opened up about his father’s struggles with an illness in a video published on The Royal Family YouTube channel in 2021.

Anne, Princess Royal - £21.8 Million

Princess Anne is the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II, and as such, she has earned the title of Princess Royal. She’s fully living up to it, as she’s mostly busy performing royal duties. She’s supporting more than 300 organizations and has been very active in her efforts towards charity.

Her global efforts were recognized to the extent that she was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1990. Despite being so engrossed with her royal work, Anne has been noted for her smart fashion choices. She’s reportedly involved in an upcoming documentary titled MOST SECRET: AM 0017 the Greatest Espionage Story Never Told.

Princess Charlotte of Cambridge - Undisclosed Net Worth

Princess Charlotte might be the next princess royal after Princess Anne. This will happen if her father, Prince William, becomes the king. Like her brother Prince George, Charlotte is also an incredibly influential member of the Royal Family. Pictures of her have caused media frenzies, and as a result, she has become a major fashion icon for children’s clothing.

Businesses whose products have appeared in her pictures have reported considerable boosts in sales. She’s just six years old, yet news outlets are already estimating her financial value to be worth £3.5 million. Of course, this doesn’t reflect the actual value of her net worth, as she isn’t earning yet.

Prince Louis of Cambridge - Undisclosed Net Worth

Prince Louis is the youngest child of Prince William and is currently the fifth in line of succession to the British throne. He is just three years old, but like his siblings, he already has quite some influence on the media and the general public. According to Cosmopolitan, he’s expected to generate about £50 million for the British economy due to his fashion influence.

Some news outlets even report his financial value to be around £2.4 billion, but of course, that doesn’t reflect his actual net worth. He just only started his education at the Willcocks Nursery School in April 2021.

James, Viscount Severn – Undisclosed Net Worth

James is the son of Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, and Sophie Rhys-Jones. He should naturally be addressed as a prince, but like his sister Lady Louise, he can’t attain that royal title yet. This is a result of the statement issued by the Queen upon his parents’ marriage.

James is popular within the Royal Family, but his recent behavior has hinted he might be the lowkey type. While his sister Lady Louise has often graced the public with her appearance, James has rarely been seen outside and only comes out for the most important events. It remains to be seen if this will change over time.

Zara Tindall - £14.4 Million

Zara Tindall is one of the few legitimate members of the Royal Family that are not funded by the royal purse. This is because her mother, Princess Anne, refused to accept a royal title for her when she was born. This is also why she isn’t addressed as a princess. Despite this, Tindall has made a name for herself.

She’s a successful equestrian and medal-winning Olympian. In any event, she wouldn’t need the royal money as she’s secured sponsorship deals with high-profile brands like Rolex and Land Rover. She also recently got employed as the director of Cheltenham Racecourse in 2019.

Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor - Undisclosed Net Worth

Archie Mountbatten-Windsor is the child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. He was already embroiled in royal controversy barely two years after his birth. This happened in 2021 after his mother’s famous interview with Oprah, where she claimed that a member of the Royal Family was worried about how dark his skin might be after his birth.

Due to his royal stature, his parent’s controversial status, and his adorable looks, he’s become a very influential figure like his cousins. He isn’t addressed as a prince yet, but he’s eligible to receive the title once Prince Charles becomes the king.

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex - £7.2 Million (Shared with Prince Harry)

Meghan Markle’s introduction into the Royal Family since 2018 has been bliss for media houses and paparazzi. Since then, her actions and Prince Harry’s have provided them with tons of gossip and controversy, including the latest one about Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir. They also did that notorious interview with Oprah.

Regarding her net worth, Meghan had built up some substantial wealth from her career as an actress before she joined the Royal Family. She also became non-entitled to royal funds after she stepped down from royal duties in 2020 with her husband. Forbes reported their shared net worth as $10 million (£7.2 million) in 2021.

Prince Edward, Duke of Kent - Undisclosed Net Worth

Prince Edward is another committed working royal. He assumed his royal duties from a very young age, as he became the Duke of Kent after his father, Prince George, died in a plane crash in 1942. Edward was just six at the time. It’s been almost eight decades since then, and it won’t be farfetched to say his father would be proud of what he’s achieved so far.

Prince Edward has attained the highest rank of Field Marshal in the British military. He’s also the president of various royal institutions and has done a lot of charity work. For his services, he receives a stipend from the Royal Family.

Princess Beatrice of York - £3.5 Million

As the daughter of Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice was already entitled to a royal trust fund right from her birth, so she must have known from a very young age that money wouldn’t exactly be a problem. That knowledge is enough to make most people resign to a life of lazy luxury, but Beatrice has since proven she’s not most people.

From working as an unpaid intern to becoming a vice president at the software company Afiniti, her career path is reminiscent of any ambitious commoner. To cap what has been an accomplished life so far, she’ll be expecting her first child later in 2021.

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge - £7.3 Million

After giving birth to three adorable royal children in quick succession, Kate Middleton has indeed blessed the Royal Family. Her marriage to Prince William in 2011 was the talk of the year, and a decade later, their little family still hasn’t left the limelight.

The Royal Family was far from Middleton’s introduction to wealth, though. Her parents were beneficiaries of a family trust fund set up more than a century ago. They also own the successful party-planning company called Party Pieces. Add Middleton’s influence as a fashion icon to that. In 2021, she reportedly boosted the British fashion industry up to £1 billion in a year.

Prince Charles, Duke of Cornwall - £291 Million

Prince Charles is the first son of Queen Elizabeth and subsequently the next in line to the British throne. At 72 years old, he is the oldest British Prince to have ever existed. As a result, he will be the most senior British monarch to resume the throne should he do that in the event of his mother’s death.

Prince Charles is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales. He recently became the Duke of Edinburgh after his father’s death in 2021. That’s a lot of royal duties, and he’s apparently getting paid handsomely. The Duchy of Cornwall and its vast resources contribute the most to his income and net worth.
