Strongman competitions may not seem popular, but they have a huge following and draws a lot of money. When it comes to big names in the sport, not much gets bigger than Eddie Hall. He took the game by storm in the U.K., winning multiple England's Strongest Man and U.K's Strongest Man competitions.

In 2017 he won the World's Strongest Man competition, putting him in the big leagues and the big bucks. He also acquired several endorsements and sponsorships with companies like Blakeman's Sausages, Pulse Fitness, Arla, and Boohoo Man. He has switched his attention to boxing recently and has a match in September 2021 with Hafthor Bjornsson.

Lewis Hamilton - $285 Million

Sir Lewis Hamilton is the man in Formula 1 circles. He has the joint-most driver's championships with Micahel Schumacher at seven, and also hold the record for most race wins wat 99 and most pole position starts at 100. That's why he is renowned as one of the most dominant modern data drivers.

This dominance has been good for his pocket as well, with a massive contract with his team Mercedes and even bigger endorsements. These include companies like Monster Energy, L’Oreal, Puma, Sony, and Tommy Hilfiger. Hamilton is currently competing for his 8th drivers' championship, although he is currently behind Ferrari's Max Verstappen in the standings.

Kyle Edmund - $2 Million

Kyle Edmund is a South African-born British Tennis Player who was part of the 2015 British Davis Cup-winning team. This Davis Cup team also won the BBC Sports Personality Team of the Year Award. As a singles competitor, he also became only the sixth British male to play in the semi-final of a major tournament in the Open Era.

He finally won his first ATP Tour title in October 2018, winning the European Open in Antwerp, Belgium. He has since won his second, taking the 2020 New York Open, and is ranked achieved the top spot in the British tennis ranking while also racing top 15 in the ATP rankings.

Harry Kane - $40 Million

Harry Kane is the most prolific goalscorer in the English Premier League at the moment. He's currently signed to Tottenham Hotspurs. He topped both the goalscoring and assist table in the 2021 season, scoring 33 goals for the season. He also helped England to the Euro 2020 final, the country's first final since 1966.

His form has attracted some major interest from other teams, including Manchester City. While Tottenham meanwhile values him at $223 million. Kane's own net worth sits at $40 million, which includes $2 million annually from endorsement with EA, Nike, Mars Bars, Beats By Dr. Dre.


Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill - $3 Million

Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill is an iconic British athlete renowned for her achievement in the heptathlon event. For this event, she won Olympic gold in 2012 while also winning the European Championship in 2010 and three World Championship gold medals. She also held the British record for this event.

She also won the World Indoor championship in 2010, and as a 100m Hurdler, she also held the British Record. Through her achievements, she has earned endorsements and sponsorship deals with the likes of Aviva, Powerade, BP, Adidas, and Omega watches, among others.

Jesse Lingard - $8 Million

Jesse Lingard is one of the most underrated players in the English Premier League. He always flies under the radar yet makes important contributions and always pops up with a goal from nothing. This was most evident when he scored the winning goal for Manchester United in the 2016 FA Cup final.

Rory McIlroy may only be ranked at number 13 these days, but he is still one of the top 10 richest golfers in the world. He is also a history maker of note and is one of only three players, with Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods, who has won all four major tournaments before the age of 25.

While winning makes a lot of money for golfers, endorsements make even more. With a back story like his, endorsements have rolled in. In fact, he actually makes more from endorsements than he does from winnings. These endorsements include Nike and Taylor Made and amount to $30 million.

Rebecca Adlington - $1,1 Million

Rebecca Adlington is a record-holding swimmer famous for her exploits at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. There she won two gold medals in the 400-meter freestyle and 800-meter freestyle. She also broke a 19-year-old record previously held by Janet Evans in the latter distance.

These achievements made her the first British Olympic champion since 1988 and the first swimming double medal winner since 1908. She retired young, at 23, and currently works for the BBC as a swimming pundit. She has also had endorsements from BMW, Amishi London, British Gas, and Boodles, which form part of her net worth.

Anthony Joshua - $80 Million

In 2010, at the age of 21, Anthony Joshua turned down a $60,000 offer to turn professional. All of this because he was more interested in winning medals in boxing. He did just that at the 2012 London Olympics, winning a gold medal as the home boxer that year.

Eventually, though, the money came his way when he turned pro in 2013 against Emanuele Leo. He earned big money against opponents like Wladimir Klitschko and John Ruiz and is currently the unified heavyweight champion. Besides the massive purses he takes for his fights, he also has lucrative endorsements with Beats By Dre, Under Armour, and Lucozade.

Victoria Pendleton - $1.5 Million

Victoria Pendleton isn't just a successful cyclist. She is also one of Britain's most successful Olympians too. As a track cyclist who specialized in the sprint, team sprint, and keirin, she's won two gold and one silver medal at The Games between 2008 and 2012.

She is also a European and Commonwealth champion and also has an astounding nine World Championships wins. For her success, she earned an MBE in 2009, and a CBE in 2013and has also been inducted into the European Cycling Union Hall of Fame. She has since switched careers to jockeying in Horseracing. Andy Murray - $100 Million

Andy Murray is one of British tennis's most successful products of The Open Era. He has been one of the top five tennis players in the world since 2007. While he has reached several grand slam finals, he has come short more often than not. Despite this, he still has three Grandslam titles.

Joel Freeland is a journeyman British Basketball player who has played his basketball in Spain and Russia, with a short stint in the NBA sandwiched in between. He has also represented Team Great Britain at the Olympic games and two EuroBasket championships.

During his time in Spain, he played for Gran Canaria and Unicaja Málaga before buying out his contract to move to the NBA with Portland Trail Blazers. After minor success in the NBA, he moved to Russian team CSKA Moskow where he had his biggest success, winning the EuroLeague championships and the VTB United League twice. He left CSKA in 2017 after his contract ran out.


Jonathan Joseph - Unknown

Jonathan Joseph is a professional rugby union player who has played at the top both as a club and international player. He spent most of his club career with the Bath Rugby playing for 112 matches for them. He joined them from a fellow Premiership team, London Irish.

As an international player, he played 51 times for England, and in 2015 he was named the Rugby Players' Association 'Player's Player of the Year' and 'England Player of the Year.' He is still an active player, although he didn't make the squad for the British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa in 2021.


Jack Grealish - $15 Million

Her accolades include winning the London Marathon and the New York Marathon thrice each. She also won the Chicago Marathon and was a world champion in three disciplines. She was also the fastest marathon runner in the world, with a time of 2:15:25. The record stood for 16 years, eventually broken by Kenyan Brigid Kosgei in 2019.

Emily Diamond - $1.5 Million

Emily Diamond is an up-and-coming British runner who has already made her mark on her disciplines. She competes in the 200 meters and 400 meters disciplines and gained prominence in 2016, making her debut and getting her first win at the British Championships in the 400-meter race.

That same year she gained success at the European Athletics Championships, winning gold in the 4 x 400 meters relay as part of Team Great Britain. She also competed at the 2016 Olympics, winning a Bronze medal. She is set to compete at the 2020 Olympics games in Japan.

Theo Walcott was just 17 when he signed on to play for Arsenal from Southampton. The speedy winger was signed at a bargain of $6.9 Million and spent the majority of his career with the Gunners. He became the youngest player to represent England that year and went on to play at that year's World Cup as well.

Walcott also went on to become the youngest player to score a hat trick for his country in a 2010 World Cup Qualifier against Croatia. He is one of the better-paid players, although he has left Arsenal and is currently back at Southampton. He has been endorsed by Nike and Adidas.

Heather Watson - $5 Million

Heather Watson is a female tennis player with plenty of historical first achievements to her name. By winning the mixed doubles title at Wimbledon in 2016, she became the first British woman to win a grand slam title since 1991 and the first to win at Wimbledon since 1987.

Watson has won nine titles in her career and is a former British number one tennis player. She also won the junior US Open and took Gold and the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2008. She is currently playing at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo and has endorsement deals with Benefit Cosmetics and Statoil energy, among others.

Ben Gordon - $20 Million

Ben Gordon is a British basketball player who made a stellar career in the NBA. He is noted for his time at the Chicago Bulls, where he has the second-most career three-pointers in the franchise's history behind Kirk Hinrich. His other notable achievement was winning a national championship in college with the University of Connecticut.

Gordon also played for the Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Bobcats, Orlando Magic, and the G League Texas Legends. He represented Great Britain basketball in the 2017 Eurobasket qualifying campaign. He also represented the USA at the Pan American Games in 2003. In 2020 Gordon revealed that he had Bipolar disorder.

Beth Dobbin - $1 - $5million

Beth Dobbin is a rising star in the British athletic scene. The daughter of retired pro soccer player Jim Dobbin, Beth specializes in the 200-meter sprint and currently holds the Scottish record in the discipline, running a 22.50-second race. Her talent has also seen her selected for the Great Britain team.

Her best result in representing Great Britain was at the 2018 World Cup in London, where she finished 3rd in the 200-meter final. She is currently a part of the Great Britain team at the Olympics and is competing in the 200 meters and 4x100 meter relay.

Jordan Pickford's career is best described as a meteoric rise. He spent a portion of his career signed to Sunderland, although most of his time at that club was spent on loan. These loan spells were at lower division clubs like Darlington, Alfreton Town, Burton Albion, and Preston North End, among others.

But then he made a $35 million move to Everton and made such an impression that he is now the number one goalkeeper for the English national team. Besides being the third most expensive keeper in history, and the most expensive British one, Pickford also has a lucrative endorsement with Nike.

Wayne Rooney - $170 Million

Wayne Rooney is one of the most talented English soccer players in the modern game. He burst onto the scene as 16 years old, taking on the heady heights of the Premier League. His performances impressed so much that he eventually signed with Manchester United at 18 years old.

Rooney would go on to become the club's record goalscorer, go on to win several trophies, including the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, and Champions League. He also became the club captain and one of its best-paid players and had endorsements with Nike and Samsung. He is currently the manager of Derby County.


Harry Maguire - $34 Million

Current Manchester United captain Harry Maguire was a star in the making. During his stint at first pro club Sheffield United, he was the teams player of the year three consecutive times, playing 166 times for them. But it was during his time at Leicester City that he really got noticed.

This led to a $111 million move to United, which saw him also become a pivotal defender for the England National team as well. His annual salary is $13 million, and he has a deal with Puma that rakes in roughly $25,000 per match. He was part of the England team that made the Euro 2020 final.

Elliot Daly - $70 Million

Elliot Daly is a rugby player renowned for his blistering pace and ability to kick long-range penalties. In fact, he made his mark in his international debut against South Africa by kicking one just like that, scoring his first international points in the process.

Daly was also the unlucky player to be the first player sent off at Twickenham in the history of rugby being played there. He also plays his club rugby for Saracens after spending most of his career at their rivals, Wasps. Daly represented the British and Irish Lions during the 2021 tour of South Africa.

Jonny Hill - $1 - $7 million

Jonny Hill plays for the Exeter Chiefs, moving there in 2015 after a short and fruitless time playing for Gloucester. During his time at Exeter, he has played 116 times, scoring 160 points in his career and catching the eye of the England national coach.

The nephew of Rugby league player Paul Loughlin, Hill was called up for the England National teams tour to South Africa in 2018, although he didn't feature. He eventually made his debut for the national team in the deciding 6 Nations match against Italy in October 2020. He is back in South Africa in 2021, this time with the British and Irish Lions.

Raheem Sterling - $45 Million

Raheem Sterling was one of England's key men in their march to the final of the Euro 2020 soccer tournament. He was the country's leading goalscorer and key attacking player. He has also been a star player for Liverpool and now Manchester City, for whom he featured on the losing side again in the 2021 Champions League final.

Sterling is Jamaican-born but moved to England at the age of five. He came from humble beginnings and started his soccer career with Queens Park Rangers. He earns $417,000 per week and has various endorsements, including a deal with New Balance, signed in 2021.

Adam Peaty - $2.5 million

Adam Peaty is one of Britain's greatest male swimmers of all time. Want proof? Just look at that freshly won gold medal in the picture, earned at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which were hosted in 2021. This is a repeat of his feat in the 2016 Olympic breaststroke event, where he also won gold.

His medal in 2016 was the first by a male British swimmer in 24 years, and he also holds world records for the 50 meters and 100-meter breaststroke. Like Michael Phelps, he is considered an anatomical freak who is tall with large hands and feet. He also has endorsements with Arena swimwear, among others.

Asha Philip - $1.5 Million

As a child, Asha Philip was a gymnastics prodigy who became a Junior World Champion in the double mini-trampoline in the 15-16 age category. But she switched her sport to sprinting and in 2007 won the gold medal in the 100-meter sprint at the World Youth Athletics Championships.

This made her the first British woman to win a global title in that discipline, although injury curtailed her chances of selection for the 2008 Olympics and also put her out of commission for several years. She returned to athletics in 2014, with gold at the 2017 European Athletics Indoor Championships. She is currently competing at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

Jonny Wilkinson - $21 Million

Jonny Wilkinsons is a legend of English rugby. He is famous for kicking the winning drop goal in the 2003 Rugby World Cup final. He is regarded as one of the best rugby players in history and also represented the British and Irish Lions in successful tours.

On a local front, he played most of his club career for the Newcastle Falcons, winning the Premiership and two Powergen Cups. He later joined French club Toulon, winning the Heineken Cup twice and the Top 14 once. He was inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame currently works as a rugby pundit for ITV's Six Nations rugby coverage.

Andrew Butchart - $1.5 Million

Andrew Butchard is a Scottish long-distance runner who specializes in the 5000-meter race. He is notable for holding the Scottish record for the 3000-meter and 5000-meter events. He has also represented Team Great Britain at several events, including the Commonwealth Games and the World Athletics Championships.

Butchard led team Great Britain at the latter event in 2019 and qualified for the 5,000-meter event at the delayed 2020 Olympic games in Tokyo. There was some controversy, though, with him accused of faking a COVID test to get into England for the qualifying event. He was given a suspended 12-month ban, so he could still compete at The Games.

Neil Back - $16 Million

Neil Back was a staple part of the England national rugby team for over a decade. He notably represented them at three Rugby World Cups and was a pivotal part of the 2003 winning team. During his career, he was also the stand-in captain and fulfilled the role four times.

Back also represented the British and Irish Lions, becoming the oldest player to do so in the first test of the 2005 tour to New Zealand. He is also the only forward in England history to kick a drop goal. He currently works as a coach at Leicester Tigers, where he also played for 17-years.

Tim Henman - $20 Million

Tim Henman is a renowned English tennis player who became the first British player since Roger Taylor in the '70s to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals. He never made the finals of a grand slam but was a regular feature in the semi-finals, reaching six. He also peaked in the ATP ranking at number 4.

Henman didn't have a winless career, though, and won 11 singles titles, which includes the Paris Masters. This makes him one of Britain's most successful open-era tennis players and earned him an OBE in the process. He currently works as a tennis pundit and still has endorsements with the likes of HSBC.

Lewis Moody - $1.2 Million

Lewis Moody was affectionately known as Mad Dog during his playing days. This was because of his enthusiasm, competitiveness at the restarts, and willingness to chase down opponents with the ball. This is why he was an important player during the successful 2003 World Cup campaign for England.

Moody was, in fact, the player who won the line out that led to the play for Jonny Wilkinson's winning drop goal. He also played his club rugby for Leicester Tigers and Bath Rugby and eventually retired in 2011. He currently runs The Lewis Moody Foundation to raise awareness about children with brain tumors.

Anthony Watson - $1 - $5 Million

Anthony Watson is a rising star in the English Rugby Union who currently plays his club game for Bath Rugby. He has also represented England in several youth age group levels and made his full England debut in a 2014 match against New Zealand, which was lost 21-24.

Watson started his career playing as a schoolboy for St George's College and was the vice-captain of the Rugby team. He made his official debut for London Irish against the Newcastle Falcons. Watson scored a try at the 2019 World Cup quarterfinal against Australia and is currently in the British and Irish Lions squad or the tour of South Africa.

Danny Cipriani - $3 Million

Danny Cipriani is a bit of a bad boy in Rugby Circles. He was arrested for DUI and also once had an altercation at a nightclub that also saw him arrested. This even followed him into the training ground, where he once got into a fight with a teammate. Yet despite this, he is still one of England's most talented rugby players.

Cipriani has represented them 16 times between 2008 and 2018, with his debut coming on a tour of Australia and South Africa in 2008. He has played his club rugby for Wasps, Sale Sharks, and Gloucester, amassing 1539 points in 261 appearances.

Owen Farrell - $500,000

Owen Farrell is a prolific scoring rugby player who has played for the England national team since 2012 and is currently captain. He is one of the top points scorers in rugby history and has scored 1053 points in 98 international tests. He comes from a line of professional rugby payers, including his father Andy and cousin Liam.

Farrell is equally as prolific a points scorer for his club team, Saracens, where he has scored 2083 in 203 appearances. He has been on three British and Irish Lions tours, including 2021 one in South Africa, but has been less prolific in the points department with 34 in 6 appearances.


Anna Hopkin - Unknown

Anna Hopkins is an up-and-coming swimmer who made her mark at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. There she won a bronze medal in the women's 4 × 100-meter freestyle relay, which not only put her on the map but the entire Great Britain relay team.

This profile also made her and her teammates a shoo-in for the delayed 2020 Olympic games in Tokyo. They are regarded as a high-quality team and are a prospect for a medal at the games. Hopkins is also competing in the 50-meter freestyle event.

Holly Bradshaw - $1.5 Million

Holly Bradshaw is a pole vault competitor who is the current British record holder in the event for both indoor and outdoor versions. She set her indoor record at 4.87 meters in 2012, while her outdoor record, with a clearance of 4.90 meters, was set more recently in 2021.

Bradshaw has also won medals, including gold at the European Indoor Championships in 2013 and silver at the 2018 edition of the same event. Her record for the outdoor event comes at the perfect time, with her set to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, taking place in 2021.

Colin Jackson - $1.5 Million

Colin Jackson is a legendary British sprinter who specialized in the 110-meter hurdles event. As a hurdler, he became a World Champion twice, and a World Indoor Champion once and also had two longstanding records in the 110 meter and 60-meter events.

He is also an Olympic silver medalist, winning that at the 1988 Games in Seoul. At one point, he was also the most dominant hurdler at the European Championships, going undefeated for 12 years, and was also undefeated overall for 44 races between 1993 and 1995. While Jackson has savings from his days as an active athlete, he also does paid talks and appearances.


Jonny May - Unknown

Speedy Winger Jonny May must believe that home is where the heart is. Because despite moving to the Leicester Tigers for three years, playing 44 times, and scoring 150 points, he still moved back to Gloucester in 2020. There he previously played 138 games, scoring 310 points.

One thing that will never change is his allegiance to his country, England, which he has represented 70 times since 2013, scoring 160 points in the process. In 2021 he became England's second-highest try scorer in history after scoring his 32nd try. Despite this achievement, he wasn't selected for the British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa.

Louis Smith - $1 - $5 Million

At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Louis Smith became the first British man to place in gymnastics even when he earned a bronze medal in the pommel horse. He proved it was no fluke while cementing his legendary status, winning a silver medal in the event at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics.

This made him the only British gymnast to ever medal at three different and consecutive games. He proved he was a team player too, helping Team Great Britain to a bronze medal at the 2012 games. Besides his winnings, he also has endorsements with the likes of Adidas and Alexander McQueen, among others.


Joe Marler - $10 Million

Joe Marler is a Prop for the rugby union team Harlequins. A stalwart of the team since 2009, Marler was eventually named captain. This after regular captain Chris Robshaw became England captain in 2015 and had to give up the captaincy due to his England Commitments.

He also plays for England and has represented his country 72 times, although he picked up a ban in 2020 after grabbing Welsh player Alun Wyn Jones by the genitals. Luckily for him, though, the matches that made up his ban were canceled, meaning he actually didn't serve a ban. He also has a podcast called The Joe Marler Show.

Zharnel Hughes - $4 - $6 Million

Zharnel Hughes is a British sprinter hailing from the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla in the Caribbean. He specializes in the 100 meters and 200-meter sprint events and also had some success with Team Great Britain in the 4x100 meter relay.

In that latter event, he won gold with the team at the 2018 European Championships and did the same for England in that event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. He also holds the Anguillan record for the 100 meters and 200-meter events and is currently with Team Great Britain at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.


Amy Williams - $95 Million

After failing to qualify for the British Athletics team as a 400-meter runner, Amy Williams switched sports. She turned to the winter sport of skeleton running, starting her training in 2002. She failed to qualify for the 2006 Winter Olympics, but this time didn't give up and eventually qualified for the 2010 games.

Her persistence paid off, and she won a gold medal. She became the first Briton to win gold 30 years at the Winter Olympics and the only medalist on the team that year. She retired in 2012 and has since become a winter sports commentator for the BBC and hosted The Gadget Show on Channel 5.

Kathleen Dawson - $1 - $5 Million

Kathleen Dawson is an up-and-coming Scottish swimmer. She specializes in the backstroke and, at just 23 years old, already holds the European record for the discipline in the 100-meter event. In the process of setting that record, she also won gold at the 2020 European Championships in Budapest.

This feat put her a the forefront of British swimming and made her a shoo-in for the Great Britain Olympic team participating at the 2020 Games in Tokyo. At the games, she finished 6th in her discipline but helped her team to Gold in the 4x100 meter medley relay.


Elliot Giles - $1 - $5 Million

Middle distance runner Elliot Giles suffered a horrific motorcycle accident in 2014 that put him out of commission for two years. But the 800-meter race specialist came back strong, and upon his return to athletics, also had his breakthrough year with some impressive form.
