Now 78, Evans is still doing what she does best, and you can check on her latest performance by watching the 2021 drama Swan Song. Perlman first hit his peak in the '80s and is best known for his roles in "The Name of the Rose" and "Beauty and the Beast." But in the late '70s, she landed the role of Sue Ellen Ewing in the TV series Dallas and became a household name. Later, she appeared in the 1991 blockbuster Oscar and performed on the stages of West End and Broadway.

While the 2012 Dallas comeback was an experience that lasted only two years, Gray has managed to continue to work extensively as an actress. Now 80 years old, it's only normal she's been a little less active in show biz; her latest on-screen performance happened in 2019, with the movie Prescience.

Kim Novak - Age 88

The one-and-only Kim Novak got to the very top of Hollywood in the '50s. Her most notable performance happened in 1958, with the Alfred Hitchcock classic Vertigo. But despite her enormous success, she decided to step away from show biz surprisingly soon. Novak first thought of leaving in 1966, but she kept coming back for sporadic appearances before retiring for good in 1991.

While movie fans lost a symbol of the big screen, Novak found excitement in painting and creating visual art, her main post-retirement occupation. Still a great looker, Novak has sadly lost her husband of 44 years, Robert Malloy, in 2020.

Eva Marie Saint - Age 97

Eva Marie Saint remains one of the oldest survivors of the Golden Age of Hollywood, and the best part is that she's still acting! Last year, when she was "just" 95 years old, Saint appeared in the video short The Pack Podcast. Right now, she's working on a new untitled Budd Schulberg documentary.

To say Saint is still alive is an understatement: even though she's close to blowing 100 candles on her birthday cake, the immortal North by Northwest star is looking as sharp, talented, and beautiful as ever. To think she started her career in the long-gone year of 1944 is simply mind-blowing.

Loni Anderson - Age 75

Loni Anderson rose to prominence as WKRP in Cincinnati's Jennifer Marlowe, arguably America's favorite-ever receptionist. Immediately recognized for her breathtaking looks, Anderson was still forced to work hard to go from an unemployed actress to a small-screen superstar.

Now 75 years old, Anderson has proven that maturity fits her, and she's still active as an actress. She's most recently appeared in the TV series My Sister Is So Gay and the 2021 documentary Forever Doris. She's been raising awareness of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease since the early '90s; the condition affected her parents, who were both smokers.

Sophia Loren - Age 86

Glamour will never die, at least not while Sophia Loren is still among us. The Italian actress is one of cinema's greatest divas, and she still looks the part today, at the advanced age of 86. In the '50s and '60s, she got the world's attention by appearing in big, classic movies such as Two Women and Started in Naples.

In the last 20 years, Loren has been less busy and has chosen her roles very carefully. She made it to 2009's Nine, to the 2014 short Voce umana, and the 2020 movie La vita davanti a sé.

Sue Ane Langdon - Age 85

The former American actress Sue Ane Langdon had disappeared from the spotlight in the early '90s when she decided to retire from show biz. Her life has been a mystery since, but she's likely been enjoying a peaceful retirement in her Calabasas, California home. Sadly, she lost her companion of 51 years, Jack Emrek, in 2010.

Langdon is best known for her roles in A Guide for the Married Man and The Cheyenne Social Club, both directed by the legendary Gene Kelly. Additionally, she's appeared in several western productions and was for that reason granted a Golden Boot Award in 2003.

Barbara Mandrell - Age 72

A Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, the ever-beautiful Barbara Mandrell is best known for her hit singles "Sleeping Single in a Double Bed" and "Years." She also excelled in television: she had her own variety show on NBC and appeared in the TV series Sunset Beach as an actress.

In the late '90s, Mandrell decided to retire from the stage. She made one or two comebacks since then, but she's been mainly dedicated to enjoying her retirement. She hasn't been on camera since The 50th Annual CMA Awards in 2016 and spends her time painting, gardening, and taking care of her family and pets.

Richard Dean Anderson - Age 71

The hunky American actor Richard Dean Anderson was popularized in the mid-'70s by appearing in the soap opera General Hospital. In the '80s, he landed the iconic role of Angus MacGyver, perhaps his biggest claim to fame. Later, he was given the lead role in Stargate SG-1, an adventure/science-fiction series.

After succeeding for three generations in American television, Anderson decided it was time to give someone else a chance. He retired in 2013 after appearing in over 30 productions as an actor. In 2016, he paused his retirement to produce Why Just One?: a documentary about saving the sea turtle.

Tina Louise - Age 87

Believe it or not, the American actress Tina Louise is still active in show biz, and she has most recently appeared in the 2019 drama Tapestry, starring Stephen Baldwin. Active since the early '50s, Louise is still best known for her role as Ginger Grant, one of Gilligan's Island's main characters.

Louise has also done some stage work and tried her luck as an author, releasing a memoir and two children's books. In 2020, she became the last surviving cast member of the original Gilligan's Island series when Dawn Wells sadly passed away.

Bo Derek - Age 64

In the '70s, the bombshell actress Bo Derek was one of the world's steamiest performers. She was popularized by the 1979 movie 10, which was a quirky comedy with lots of spicy scenes! Married to the actor/director John Derek between 1976 and 1988 (the year of his death), Bo made it to many of her husband's movies, including Tarzan, the Ape Man, and Fantasies.

Still active as an actress, Derek has somehow managed to maintain her looks past the age of 60. She appeared in The Last Sharknado: It's About Time in 2018 and JL Family Ranch: The Wedding Gift in 2020 (her latest acting performance).

Maggie Smith - Age 86

The English actress Dame Maggie Smith is one of the United Kingdom's top performers, and her career seems like a never-ending listing of successes. Younger audiences know her from her appearances in the Harry Potter movies and the Downton Abbey TV series. Older fans may remember her from her stage appearances and for her Oscar-nominated performances in Othello and Travels with My Aunt.

Smith is 86 already, but is she even considering slowing down? Not at all! She still has a busy schedule ahead of her, as she's set to appear in the upcoming movies Downton Abbey 2 and A German Life.

Ali MacGraw - Age 82

Every '70s movie fan knows her face: she's the one-and-only Ali MacGraw, who's been mostly dedicated to her work as an activist in recent years. That, of course, doesn't mean we've forgotten about her past as an actress! Even though she's only appeared in 15 productions between 1968 and 1997, her legacy is ever-lasting.

A critically acclaimed performer, MacGraw has most notably appeared in Love Story, The Getaway, and Convoy. She's also been very busy promoting animal welfare. Away from the screen since the late '90s, MacGraw has recently made it to a 2021 episode of CBS News Sunday Morning.

June Lockhart - Age 96

Trying to guess June Lockhart's age is a losing game, as this bonafide American legend looks nothing like she's a mere 4 years away from celebrating her 100th birthday. As an actress, Lockhart was the worthy receiver of two Emmy Awards and a Tony Award.

A politically active Roman Catholic, Lockhart has most recently appeared in the 2019 animated film Bongee Bear and the Kingdom of Rhythm. Lockhart's influence is such that she was granted two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: one for her work on the big screen and another for her outstanding television career.

Shelley Duvall - Age 71

Before retiring in 2002, the American actress Shelley Duvall was one of the best in the game. She was given a chance to work with the legendary director Stanley Kubrick in the horror classic The Shining, and some movie buffs believe that her dedication to the role took a heavy toll on her mental health.

In fact, Duvall's been making headlines for her mental state ever since she appeared in Dr. Phil, looking quite shaken and fragile. In 2021, though, she was interviewed by a Hollywood Reporter journalist and said that her memory was "sharp" and that Kubrick (despite the rumors) was a "very warm and friendly" guy.

Dean Stockwell - Age 85

The American actor Dean Stockwell is looking sharp at the age of 85, but can we really blame him for retiring in 2015? After all, he's given us 7 decades of his life, and he's appeared in a whopping 200-plus movie and TV series! To be fully aware of Stockwell's longevity, just keep in mind he first became famous in the '40s!

An Academy Award-nominated performer, Stockwell appeared in productions such as Dune, Paris, Texas, Married to the Mob, and Quantum Leap. Away from the set for a good 6 years now, Stockwell is set to appear in the documentary The Jack Richard Smith Documentary: A Portrait of an Artist.

Shirley Eaton - Age 84

Known for her role in Goldfinger, Shirley Eaton decided to retire in 1969 to focus on her dream of bringing up a family. In the late '90s, not long after the death of her husband Colin Rowe, the former actress became a successful author.

She released the memoir book "Golden Girl," and it was a bestseller! Eaton's cult figure fueled the book's success. Regarded as one of the ultimate bombshells of the 007 franchise, Eaton never regretted her decision to focus on raising a family and has once said that "a career is a career, but you're a mother until you die."

Ann Blyth - Age 92

The Golden Age of Hollywood was all about glamour and elegance, and the classy former actress Ann Blyth sure makes for one of its finest representatives. One of the last living legends of the period, Blyth retired in the mid-'80s but is still dearly remembered for her acting talent.

It's been a while since we've heard about Blyth, but we do know that her husband of 54 years - the obstetrician James McNulty - had sadly passed away in 2007. Even though it's fair to say Blyth retired way too soon, she's still enjoyed a long career in entertainment, as she started working in radio shows at the precocious age of 5.

Tippi Hedren - Age 91

You know her from the legendary Alfred Hitchcock movie The Birds, but that's just the "tippi" of the iceberg. Born in Minnesota, the ever-lovely Tippi Hedren has made it to over 80 productions over the years, and she's still active today! In fact, she's about to appear in the upcoming movie Unforgettable.

While she's mainly known for her collaborations with Hitchcock, Hedren has worked with some of the best, even making it to the very last Charlie Chaplin movie, A Countess from Hong Kong. She's also appeared in Alexander Payne's '90s comedy Citizen Ruth and the 2004 existential movie I Heart Huckabees.

Joni Mitchell - Age 77

Joni Mitchell's legendary record Blue is celebrating 50 years in 2021, and The New York Times published a special article on the subject. More than half a century after making her debut, Mitchell remains one of the most beloved, influential, and talented singer-songwriters in the history of music.

While she's retired on at least three occasions, there's always room (and hope) for a Mitchell comeback. Known for her sweet and versatile voice and her intricated style of song arrangement, Mitchell saw her aforementioned record Blue be highlighted as the third-best of all-time in a 2020 Rolling Stone list.

Julie Andrews - Age 85

The British actress Dame Julie Andrews rose to fame in 1964 when she portrayed Mary Poppins in the same-titled movie. One year later, she was given the lead in The Sound of Music, arguably one of the most popular, influential, and beloved films of all time. Most actors would call it a day, but not Andrews... She's continued to work over the years, and she's recently appeared in yet another hit: the steamy Netflix series Bridgerton.

Now working on the upcoming animated flick Minions: The Rise of Gru, Andrews has also taken some time to write children's books and has already released two autobiographies.

Jerry Lee Lewis - Age 85

If there's anyone that deserves to be called a living legend, that's Jerry Lee Lewis. The rock & roll pioneer is still active at the impressive age of 85, more than 72 years after he first started playing live! Lewis is best known for his iconic hit "Great Balls of Fire" and his piano playing style, which is fast-paced and spectacular.

In 2021, Lewis made headlines after renewing his marriage vows with his seventh wife, not long after getting his COVID-19 vaccine shot. On a darker note, Lewis was once at the center of a nationwide scandal, back when he married his 13-year-old cousin Myra Gale Brown in 1958.

Prunella Scales - Age 89

An outstanding English actress, Prunella Scales is best known for her role as Basil Fawlty in the comedy series Fawlty Towers. A BAFTA Award-nominated performer, Scales still hasn't retired from show biz, but she's been away from the cameras since the 2012 comedy Run for Your Wife. She's also made it to some short films in 2013 and 2014.

While we wait patiently for a Prunella Scales comeback, it's probably a good idea to watch The Boys from Brazil and An Awfully Big Adventure, two of her best movies. Married to the actor Timothy West since 1963, Scales has two children, including the actor/theatre director Samuel West.

Tony Bennett - Age 94

Music fans were shocked to learn that the legendary American singer Tony Bennett has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The news came out in 2021, but the singer knows about the condition since 2016. Luckily, the slow progress of the disease has allowed Bennett to continue to do what he loves the most: perform his songs in front of a crowd.

While Bennett is a very versatile singer (he even has a duet with Lady Gaga!), he's often associated with the likes of Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole. He's a jazz-loving romantic singer with a deep crooner voice and big band arrangements who's sold over 50 million records worldwide.

Ninety-year-olds don't often make for the funniest man in the room. But while some people start getting more pessimistic with age, the opposite has happened to the one-and-only Jackie Mason. Still doing his thing and still making us laugh, the American comedian has been going at it since the mid-'50s!

Regarded as one of the best stand-up comedians of all time, Mason is living proof that genius artists never run out of fresh ideas. In television, the iconic redhaired Wisconsin native is known for his portrayal of Hyman Krustofski, the rabi of The Simpsons.

Jacqueline White - Age 98

The former actress Jacqueline White has gone from a drop-dead gorgeous big-screen stunner to a very cute and charming grandma. She decided to focus on her family in 1952, the year she said goodbye to show biz and moved to Wyoming with her husband and first child.

While White still makes occasional appearances in film conventions, she's been away for a long, long time. Before retiring, she appeared in over 25 classic productions, including the movies Swing Shift Maisie, The Show-Off, The Narrow Margin, Riders of the Range, Crossfire, and Air Raid Wardens.

Angela Lansbury - Age 95

Born in London, the British-American actress Angela Lansbury moved to the United States with her parents in 1940. She studied acting in New York City and started a career that's been going for almost eight decades! She found plenty of success in Hollywood and the stage, making it to over 110 productions.

Known for playing the lead in the popular crime series Murder, She Wrote, Lansbury isn't quitting just because she's 95 years old. Still active today, she's about to appear in the upcoming movie The Adventures of Buddy Thunder.

Robert Clary - Age 95

Hogan's Heroes was an American sitcom set in a Nazi German prisoner camp. The setup was no laughing matter, but the likes of Robert Clary made the show funny and successful. The last surviving cast member of the series, Clary understood Nazi Germany: after all, 12 members of his family were sent to Auschwitz.

Born in Paris, France, Clary was lucky to escape the horrors of the war and find a new life in the United States. Now retired (he left show biz in 2001), Clary has also appeared in The Bold and the Beautiful, Hindenburg, Thief of Damascus, and Days of Our Lives.

Arlene Dahl - Age 95

The mother of the Falcon Crest star Lorenzo Lamas, Arlene Dahl is a legend of the American cinema of the '50s and one of the last surviving stars from the Classic Hollywood era. At the age of 95, Dahl has said goodbye to show biz long ago. Even though she retired in 2012, she hasn't been on camera since the 1999 TV series Air America.

Dahl married and divorced five different men before meeting her current husband, Marc Rosen. In the meantime, she starred in many classic movies, including Journey to the Center of the Earth, Reign of Terror, Scene of the Crime, and Three Little Words.

Donald Sutherland - Age 85

Nominated for eight Golden Globe Awards, the legendary Donald Sutherland is busier than most 85-year-olds. He's still working as an actor and is now getting ready to appear in the 2022 TV series Swimming with Sharks. Last year, he did a great job in the mini-series The Undoing, starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant.

From 1970's MASH to The Hunger Games, Sutherland has somehow managed to stay on the top of the list of every Hollywood casting director. In total, he made it to almost 200 productions! Born in Canada, Sutherland has three sons who also work in the industry: the actors Kiefer, Rossif, and Angus Sutherland.

Dustin Hoffman - Age 83

The American actor/filmmaker Dustin Hoffman is living proof that you don't have to be very tall to become an industry giant. He's arguably one of the most successful big-screen performers of the last century, and some of his best movies include titles such as Tootsie, The Graduate, Midnight Cowboy, and Rain Man.

Now 83, Hoffman is not only alive but still active. Currently filming the to-be-released drama As Sick as They Made Us, Hoffman has been the recipient of two Academy Awards, six Golden Globe Awards, and two Emmy Awards. In recent years, he's appeared in the TV series Medici and the animated movie Kung Fu Panda 3.

William Daniels - Age 94

The American actor William Daniels has just celebrated his 94th birthday, and is there a better reason to recall his impressive career? In TV, Daniels made it to shows such as St. Elsewhere and Boy Meets World. In cinema, he appeared in titles such as The Graduate, 1776, and Knight Rider (he voiced the electronic computer module KITT).

Daniels has chosen not to retire from acting despite his advanced age and has most recently reprised his role as KITT in the 2020 movie Superintelligence. Between 2014 and 2017, he made yet another TV comeback: this time to reprise his Boy Meets World character in the spin-off series Girl Meets World.

Elle Macpherson - Age 57

At 57 years old, the Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson is the youngest celebrity to make it to our list, and saying she's alive is a bit of an understatement! This Aussie sensation still looks like she could run the catwalk and has been making lots of money as a businesswoman. She has a line of lingerie and beauty products, as well as her own wellness supplement.

An ever-successful bombshell from the land down under, Macpherson is known internationally for her incredible looks, outstanding modeling career, and appearances in the sitcom Friends and the game show Britain's Next Top Model, where she worked as a host and executive producer.

Jessica Lange - Age 72

The American actress Jessica Lange has won numerous awards throughout her career, but she's not thinking about stopping. At 72, she looks as beautiful and fresh as ever, and she's most recently graced the TV series American Horror Story and The Politician. Right now, she's set to appear in the upcoming documentary The Needs of Kim Stanley.

Even though Lange has worked hard as a show biz professional, she has somehow managed to find the time to release four photography books and become a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. She's the mother of three children, including the American dancer Shura Baryshnikov.

Bonnie Bartlett - Age 92

It's hard to believe that the former St. Elsewhere star Bonnie Bartlett is 92 years old already. The beautiful performer from Wisconsin has appeared in over 100 productions, with the latest being the critically acclaimed TV series Better Call Saul. She is married to the actor William Daniels, who played her husband in St. Elsewhere.

Not limited to TV, Bartlett has also appeared in movies such as Twins, V, and The Grass Harp. Always graceful, Bartlett hasn't been on camera for almost four years, but you can see her on the to-be-released documentary SEGAL, where she'll appear as an interviewee.

Diane Sawyer - Age 75

It's not easy to find a more respected broadcast journalist in the United States. The beautiful Diane Sawyer is still delivering the news at the respectable age of 75. She's known for her work in ABC World News Tonight and for being the first female correspondent on 60 Minutes.

Before joining the world of journalism, Sawyer worked very closely to the action. She was a member of Richard Nixon's White House staff, and she even drafted some of the public statements of the former president! Today, she still works for ABC, mainly as a TV specials/documentaries producer.

Michael Caine - Age 88

Younger audiences know Sir Michael Caine for his role in The Dark Knight, where he played Bruce Wayne's wise butler Alfred. But older movie buffs will never forget his performances in movies as iconic as Alfie, Sleuth, or Educating Rita.

From London to the world, Caine has been working as an actor since 1953, and he's still regarded as one of the best in the game. Hollywood can get pretty competitive, but Caine isn't worried about it. With the energy of a 20-year-old, Caine has made it to the movies Best Sellers and Twist in 2021 and is currently working in the upcoming productions The Great Escaper and Medieval.

Christopher Lloyd - Age 82

Christopher Lloyd is best known for his iconic role as the beloved crazy scientist "Doc" in the Back to the Future trilogy. But this outstanding American actor is far from being a one-trick pony: he excelled in the Taxi comedy series, made it to a Star Trek movie, and even appeared in more serious productions such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

At the age of 82, Lloyd isn't thinking about retirement just yet, and who are we to criticize him? With six new movies on his schedule, Lloyd has most recently appeared in Queen Bees, Senior Moment, and Nobody, all released in 2021.

Johnny Mathis - Age 85

In 2021, the Daily Mail photographed Johnny Mathis dining with some friends in Los Angeles and mentioned that he looked "decades younger." Considering the crooner singer is 85 years old already, we couldn't agree more! Even though he's been working since the long-gone year of 1956, Mathis is still an energetic, full-of-life man.

Still doing what he does best, the American standard music singer has released several platinum albums and has dwelled in styles as diverse as Spanish and Brazilian music, R&B, blues, and country. His life's work has allowed him to become a very wealthy man, with a reported net worth of $400 million.

Anne Byrne - Age 77

What about a blast from the past? The former American actress Anne Byrne has virtually disappeared from the spotlight since the early '80s. She became famous for being the first wife of the Hollywood A-lister Dustin Hoffman and for enjoying a brief (but impactful) acting career.

Now married to the actor Ivan Kronenfeld, Byrne has remained unseen since she joined the cast of the 1980 movie Why Would I Lie?. Not much is known about her current condition, but one thing's for sure: Byrne has managed to keep her breathtaking good looks even at the respectable age of 77.

Murray Abraham - Age 81

The American actor Murray Abraham has a long, enviable career in Hollywood, but he's still working hard at the age of 81. It's a privilege that's only given to the very best, and Abraham surely fits the part: he's appeared in many critically acclaimed productions, including Amadeus, Scarface, Inside Llewyn Davies, and The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Still incredibly relevant in today's acting scene, Abraham has been busy with his role in Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet, a video game-inspired sitcom that premiered in 2020. This year, he's also appeared in the drama-horror flick Things Heard & Seen.

Suzanne Somers - Age 74

There are two sides to Suzanne Somers. She rose to fame by appearing in the sitcom Three's Company, which kickstarted her very successful acting career. But in recent years, the beautiful blonde from San Bruno, California, has been mainly focused on her new job as a health spokesperson.

She has excelled as a self-help author while also releasing four diet books and two autobiographies. A former Dancing with the Stars contestant, Somers has been often criticized for supporting scientifically unproven medical treatments. But despite what you may think about her ideas, it's a fact that Somers has achieved great success as the author of 20-plus best-selling books.

Charlotte Rampling - Age 75

In the '60s, the stunning Charlotte Rampling became a fashion icon and muse. Almost six decades after, she remains a gorgeous woman, an inspiration, and a very active show biz professional. She's embraced her 75 years of age graciously, and her distinguishable blue eyes are still shining bright with energy and ambition.

With over 130 acting credits in her filmography, Rampling isn't thinking about retirement just yet. This year, she starred in the biography drama Benedetta, and she's about to appear in Dune, one of the most anticipated science-fiction movies of the last few decades.

Christopher Walken - Age 78

Is there anything more fun than trying to imitate the unique style of the American actor Christopher Walken? At the age of 78, the Pulp Fiction star is still doing what he does best, and it's hard to find a more charismatic performer in Hollywood. Currently working in the to-be-released series The Offenders, Walken has most recently appeared in the 2021 thriller series Severance.

Even though he made it to over 130 productions as an actor, Walken has still found the time to make a 2001 directorial debut and to co-produce the 1998 movie New Rose Hotel.

Richard Simmons - Age 73

Richard Simmons made waves in the world for his flamboyant personality that has often been showcased on television shows. He is a fitness figure responsible for promoting various weight-loss programs. This star lays emphasis on the physical aspect of losing weight by focusing on aerobics and other exercise routines.

The wise words of the sensation have now spread across the country, and he has become extremely popular thanks to his line of DVDs and recent work on YouTube. Richard has also published a series of diet books to help his followers in watching their weight.

Barbara Eden - Age 90

Barbara Eden became a household name for appearing in the show I Dream of Jeannie, but this is not the only widely-acclaimed production under her belt. The star has spent her entire life building quite a fascinating portfolio by working with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

You might have seen her steal the show in works like From the Terrace, A Private's Affair, and Flaming Star. In the last one, Barbara shared the screen with Elvis Presley and did so with utmost flair. Though now the sensation has semi-retired, she often drops by on television for special appearances.

Jeane Manson - Age 71

Jeane Manson is known for modeling, singing, and acting. She is certainly one of those multi-talented folks that can nail any art that they try. The performer came into public notice while working with a famous magazine. Still, it was when she shifted to Europe that real success came knocking at her door, as the artist began working in films.

Bons Baisers de Hong Kong is one of her most acclaimed movies. Following this feat, Jeane released the song Avant de nous dire adieu, which to this day remains to be her most memorable track. She now appears to have retired.

Talia Shire - Age 75

You must have seen Talia Shire in the popular crime film The Godfather, in which she played the role of Connie Corleone. That performance was enough to prove just how talented the star is. She then cemented her name in Hollywood by appearing in Rocky, with which she was nominated for various awards.

Talia has been acting for decades, and not many can boast as versatile a work portfolio as her. She is now in her seventies but refuses to hang up the boots. The artist's most recent role was in Working Man.
