Usually, during a football game, it is the players who are snapped and are in the spotlight. However, it seems one of The Dallas Cowboys' cheerleaders stole the limelight in 2011 in a game against the Miami Dolphins.
Professional athlete, Jason Witten tackled Melissa Kellerman who was facing the other way. Though it was all in good nature, the shock on her face is more of astonishment rather than pain. Kellerman assured them she was fine and 'tougher than she looks.' Maybe the dancer could not believe the exposure she gained from this random incident.
A Frame-Worthy Dive
When professional Olympic divers are focusing on their form, they don't have time to worry about the faces they pull. This photographer managed to catch the perfect moment when Chinese athlete, Qin Kai is plunging into the pool with speed and velocity.

Road accidents can be very dangerous and fatal for all involved. Many lose their lives or are seriously injured because of them every year. However, there are other times when it is not so serious and can create some funny situations as this picture portrays.

You must be athletically strong and have great hand-eye coordination if you want to try out to be a cheerleader. Doing a routine is not easy, whether it is during a rehearsal or the real deal. These guys have to focus otherwise things can get pretty dangerous while they're flying in the air acrobatically.

If you are a sci-fi fan, you might look at this photo and think "Star Wars!" In the popular franchise, there are often 'Jedi' and 'Siths' fighting in the galaxy in flying starships. Many fans find the film series an excellent way to unwind and immerse themselves in fantasy.
When viewers saw this image on the internet, there were many who suspected these ships were flying like spaceships! Obviously, it was an illusion, though it does look quite extraordinary. This mirage comes from the reflection of the sun on the seawater which happens to be strangely calm.

She could be so animated because it is either her first time on the team or full of school spirit. It is known sometimes that a position on the cheer squad secures your social standing in college. Some say it is usually reserved for the popular kids.

Another optical illusion for us to admire. We wonder what this woman's intentions were when deciding to give a speech in the sand on a wooden board. At first impression, it looks like this lady is floating on a magic carpet. It resembles the Disney movie, "Aladin" where he flies on one too with 'Princess Jasmine.'
On second look, the skies are clear which could indicate the beach was hot that day. Hence why the speech giver chose to stand on a platform to not burn her feet. Though the shadow is what throws us, it is in fact an outline of a flag behind the camera.
Relax, Fellow Vegans
Our eyes can play tricks on us from time to time. It did for us at first glance at this image. It looks like this truck has packed a bunch of chickens neatly in the back of its vehicle. Like some kind of farm animal abduction, don't worry fellow vegans, it is only plastic bottles of milk.
The color of the cartons and red lids fazed us just for a moment. Upon further inspection, your brain will start to make sense of it all. We wonder if any passer-bys clocked the same idea when seeing this pick-up drive down the highway.

We are used to seeing cheer ladies adorn uniforms when dancing, however, it is usually in their home team colors. It looks like 'The Minnesota Vikings' cheerleaders made an exception during Halloween and wore different character outfits instead. NFL players usually gear up with protective wear before a game on the field. Due to the fact it is a heavily contact sport that can cause injury if you don't shield certain parts of yourself. The athletes put on helmets, shoulder pads, and knee pads before running out on the green.
It seems this unlucky man needed a lot more safety precautions down below. This dangerous scenario of the fast-moving ball heading towards his nether regions was caught just moments before it happened. We feel bad for him but it is a risk to the game, maybe that's why they are paid the big bucks.
Found Gold Yet?
Lebron James is considered one of the most famous NBA players of all time. So it's not a surprise if there are paparazzi following his every move. Especially at a sports game where there are endless amounts of cameras, snapping all the athletes and the audience.
Maybe James forgot about this fact for a split second when he chose to dig for gold publicly. Remembering you being watched the whole time can get draining, so we don't blame him for just wanting to pick his nose. This normal human behavior has not changed our perception of the player nor will it reduce the millions he has in his bank account.
An Impossible Handstand
Photographers usually manage to snap hilarious photos of professional divers right before the plunge due to the sheer speed they are diving at. Yet it can also produce images like this. This lady's form shows she's well trained and disciplined in her sport. Just look at that incredible handstand before she hits the pool!
We believe both parties are owed praise, the swimmer's hard work, and the lensman for capturing this moment before she hits the water. We hope the athlete managed to achieve a high score for this, it has certainly impressed us.

Cheerleaders are known to move graciously in the air and for their cheery attitude. Not only do they proudly support their home team, but it seems this lady would love to take part in it too. However, her form could do with some work as you wouldn't find the basketball players dunking like this.
Though it seems she's having fun, this picture-perfect moment is aesthetically pleasing. There is not a hair out of place, and the woman is beaming from ear to ear. We wonder if she managed to make the shot in the end, despite this it's fun to let others in on the game to have a go.
Stunt Gone Wrong
This comical moment was caught on camera to be shared with the world. We can't tell what kind of stunt was meant to happen but we do know the results are hilarious. Judging by the man's face, he knows the routine went wrong because it looks like he was supposed to catch his teammate.
The well-timed image shows us moments before the disaster. Cheerleading includes jumps, flips, and throwing people in the air so it's not strange that sometimes it doesn't always go right. We just hope the girl is okay since it seems she's falling down face first.

This picture has made us do a double-take. Our first impression is possibly a gathering of ducks swimming in the lake, but do these feathered animals come with mirrors? It does stir a few questions, but if you take a closer look things start to become clearer.
Contrary to our initial thoughts, these are actually steering wheels from motorcycles. The fact you can hardly see the whole bike tells us a major flood has occurred. They're all submerged under tons of water. Another clue is how you can't even see the base of the tree, just the branches.

Dog lovers look away! This poor buddy seems to have had a mishap, look at its incredibly swollen nose. Either this little guy slammed into a door or it tried to eat all the honey from a beehive and got stung. Bee stings can get messy and painful for humans as well as our four-legged friends.
We're here to tell you it is in fact another optical illusion. Taking a closer look, there is a little hamster hanging on the end of his nose. Holding on for dear life from the pup's nostrils.
The Air Sleep Move
Dennis Rodman is famed for playing for the 'Chicago Bulls' alongside Michael Jordon since 1995. His unmatched talent on the court has some saying he has the best defense tactics of all time. Judging by this photo, we must say we agree.
Rodman gives it his all trying to catch the ball for his team, even leaping with what looks like no landing plan at all. The athlete's instinct was just to jump for it. His relationship with Jordan has been up and down but it looks like it's all up. They shared a sweet moment when they reunited at the 2022 All-Star NBA Game in February.
The Champions Of A Screaming Contest
If there was a screaming contest around, these ladies would win for sure. Though it is normal to compete in a cheer contest around the United States, it looks like these girls have taken some kind of trophy home. We'd be shouting with our arms in the air too if we won too.
They must have trained hard for this moment, it is quite exhausting when practicing for days on end to perfect every move. The whole team would be judged as a group so you don't want to be the one to fail your buddies. However, it looks like they are proud of their outcome.

Sometimes people see mirage's in the middle of the desert due to a lack of hydration. Yet we see no sand, but a man-made parking garage. Possibly a scene out of a sci-fi movie where different roads lead to another dimension. That is what we took from this at first glance.
This illusion comes from the reflection in the still water that sits on the cold concrete floor. Although this looks like an underground lot we wonder where the water came from. If you drive through, unlike a fantasy set in a film you'll most likely just see another level of cars.
Goodbye, Dear World
So this image is very reminiscent of Armageddon. Some may be familiar with the biblical sense of the end of world. Raining large meteor showers sound terrifying, after all, that's how dinosaurs went extinct all those years ago.
Fortunately, this is not the case here. Neither a meteoroid nor an asteroid, it's in fact a cloud shaped like one. The way the sun reflects its light on it changes the shadow to a red color. It does look like something that would end our planet forever, yet it isn't. We think it looks pretty scary.
Does It Stink?
If you've ever danced in a group, then you may understand that facial expressions are all part of the routine. These cheer ladies seem to be giving it their all, you can tell by the scrunched-up look on their faces. One of the funniest is the blonde in front who almost looks like she smells something dreadful.
We can see they're very enthusiastic, as they should be. Cheerleaders are known to keep the crowd pumped up during breaks in the game. As well as engaging with their players to support them to score. This perfectly timed photo won't go amiss when the girls look back at it, for its hilarity.

You wouldn't want to be in this player's shoes at the moment in time. It looks like there's a looming danger for Sanchez as he's about to have the weight of the world fall on him. Since it is a contact heavy sport, injuries are bound to happen. The athletes know this, hence why they wear so much safety gear.
Despite knowing this, we can assume it still is not nice to get hurt. This image shows us moments before his teammate's rear comes into collision with his face. Just to rub salt on the wound, the New York Jets lost to the Patriots that day.

Some may be familiar with the monster fantasy film, "Godzilla." It originates from a series of Japanese movies, the gigantic reptilian beast that runs havoc through the city. Creating a path of destruction due to its sheer size and atomic heat breath.
In contrast, Pug is one of the smallest breeds of dogs out there. Their miniature frame and funny faces make them a popular choice among many. The angle at which this image is shot makes this dog look a lot bigger. The funny part is it could not be further away from the truth, we're calling this a pugzilla.
Hair Treatment Trip
The right angles can turn any view into something it is not. Looking at this image of a vehicle, at first glance can be deceiving. It looks like five bald gentlemen sitting enjoying the ride, possibly on the way to the salon or going on a trip somewhere. It seems like our brain is playing tricks on us.
If you thought that, your first impression would be wrong. Upon closer inspection, there is only one man sitting in the driver's seat. The way the sun shines against his head makes it look like the headrests are also other people. What an optical illusion!

Cheerleaders come in all shapes and sizes. As long as you're limber, flexible, and enthusiastic you could see yourself succeeding past the tryouts and onto the team. Being a guy on the cheer squad you must be strong, have great coordination, and be physically supportive.
However, it seems this man lost his control and didn't quite catch her perfectly. The face he's polling tells us he may be watched so not wanting to give up, he perseveres on. It's crucial for the guys to build up strength through workouts to stay prepared for moments like this.

American Tom Brady is well known to NFL fans all over the world. He is considered one of the best football players of all time. His seven championship rings will tell you that. He predominantly played with the New England Patriots, leading them to several Super Bowl wins.
During a game there are many cameras from the media and the audience snapping away, catching every moment. One photographer managed to snap a shot of Brady looking goofy after high-fiving a teammate. It's a change of pace from his usual serious pitch face. The athlete announced his retirement in February 2022, ending his vocation with the Buccaneers.

After years of continuous research, scientists eventually constructed 'Apollo 11,' the first spaceflight that landed humans on the moon in 1969. Many people followed and watched the event on television.
The cat in this picture is playing with a desk lamp which reminds us of those memorable occurrences. The light from the bulb can be the bottom of the space shuttle launching and the fur on the kitty is the cloud of smoke from the engines. It's funny that the hair of our furry friend is also grey.

In an office work setting, there is normally a rule of wearing professional attire. For ladies, this could be smart trousers or skirts and for men sharp suits and shirts. This can help you maneuver your way with clients and help them look at you as someone who knows what you want.
Initially, our thoughts were the gentleman was the one standing wearing high heels. In fact, it seems we have an optical illusion on our hands. The guy is the one sitting down and the way the lady rests her head on his shoulders makes it look the other way around. It looks like they've switched bodies!

The Oregon cheerleaders seem to be enjoying their day at the game from their big smiles and arms up in the air. These girls are all stunning, it's no wonder many ladies strive to be a part of this squad. We're going to guess they're all so excited because they're celebrating the team's victory.
Some rankings place this cheer team as one of the hottest in the country and we can see why. Each of the girls looks like they could compete and fare wonderfully in any beauty contest. What lucky genes they must all have.

Watching cheerleaders do their flips and jump is quite impressive, seeing as not many can achieve what they can athletically. It can be viewed as one of the most dangerous sports out there. However, no matter how hard you train or experience you can still make blunders.
Losing your footing or missing a split second can be risky for your teammate. We can see things did not go to plan here, as some of the girls try to salvage this accident by catching the blonde mid-air before she crushes the lady below.

Scooters are a great way of transportation, especially in a busy city with lots of traffic. You can easily maneuver your way through the roads between the cars that can be stuck for some time because of rush hours. There is speed on them and some riders like to wear colorful helmets to show off their personality.
This funny image looks like a man and a woman on a bike. In fact, it is just the male who has his leg up on the two-wheeled motor with his knee pointing at the bright blue headgear. Onlookers seeing this could make them giggle, and it looks like he is completely unaware.

You may have heard of Greek Mythology and the creature Centaur. A half-human and half-horse figure in fantasy movies like "Hercules" and "The Chronicles of Narnia." Though it's a make-believe character, we think they look pretty majestic with their large sizes.
This lady seems to have a setback while posing for a photo. There seems to be a rather large dog in the background situated perfectly so it looks like the girl is a mythical animal. It does not help that she's wearing black jeans either. Looks like they have to take another photo.
Testing The Coffin
This in fact isn't an image of a cheerleader testing out a coffin. It does sound quite morbid to us. She's actually inside a luggage overhead compartment on an airplane. We wonder what stirred her to climb up there. It could have been for a dare from her cheer squad.
Not many can fit themselves into these tight spaces, she must have a petite frame. It does make us wonder if you could smuggle people on planes though. Although, with high-security procedures nowadays we don't think it will be easy.
Don't Mess With Cheerleaders
Cheerleaders can come in many different shapes and sizes, don't be fooled that these ladies can't make the squad with these strong biceps. The lady on the right looks like she has completed some hardcore strength training. It may be helpful when completing those lifts and holding up her team mid-air.
She must be a fan of fitness having achieved that level of muscularity. We wouldn't want to mess with her but her friendly smile makes us feel less scared. The fact that the girl's arm on the left isn't as pronounced makes the other one look a lot bigger.
Pugzilla Vol. 2
Camera angles can make real life look a lot like augmented reality. This seems to be a pugzilla moment 2.0, as we saw another previously. The deceptively huge pug looks a little sad for some reason, perhaps the little guys is hungry. Though the squished faces of these animals can make their expressions seem more dramatic.
This perceptive little trick is done by having the pup super close to the camera, while the lady in the background further in the background. As a result, the four legged pet looks enormous when in fact it is one of the smaller breeds.
They're Coming Alive!
This pair of 'Frankenstein' looking glasses look quite hilarious to us. Walking past you might catch a glimpse of these specs watching back at you. At the same time the 'eyes' look terrified, we wonder what they saw to have this reaction. Perhaps a scary ghost?
This illusion is funny to us, though in fact the truth is it's a reflection of two lamps from above. Creating animated looking peepers in the inanimate object. Despite some may finding this comical, whoever discovered this first could have found it pretty traumatic.
Remote Llama Head
The idea of a headless creature sounds horrifying to us. There are several horror movies based that idea like the 'headless horseman' in "Sleepy Hollow." In this picture the boy is trying to keep his beverage away from a llama, but where is its body?
The perfect angle and timing of this photograph has created some hilarious results. In reality the animal's torso and legs are hidden behind the guy's frame in the picture. It's curved in a way where it tricks our brain into believing that there is only a floating head.
Where Does The Floor Lead?
Gothic chapels are visually mind blowing. Their intricate architecture with unique statues contain amazing detailed work. Many people come from all over the world just to admire these cathedrals. The creative designs you see manage to make most peoples jaw drop.
Most of these sanctuary's date back to the 15th and 16th centuries. This one seems to have some trippy floors. The pattern in the marble ground looks like it is going downwards, to a separate level. No need to watch your step though, it's nothing but an optical illusion.
